Mission Statement
The Dartmouth Association of Latino Alumni (DALA) will engage the diverse voices of its membership in dialog that drives the improvement of the Dartmouth Latino experience for both alumni and students.
Goals
The goals of DALA are determined by the membership. Currently, the goals of DALA are to:
- Build a network of Latino alumni by creating access to the DALA website, circulating the DALA newsletter, and hosting alumni gatherings.
- Develop a job/career network for DALA alumni and Latino students, in conjunction with the Career Services Office at Dartmouth College.
- Establish a positive working relationship with the Administration at Dartmouth College.
- Work with the Admissions Office to attract prospective Latino students in an effort to meet the Colleges goal to increase diversity.
- Establish mentorship activities between DALA and current Latino students.
- Develop a scholarship program for Latino students at Dartmouth College.
