DALA MENTORING PROJECT
Alum Sign-up Form

Thank you for your interest in serving as a mentor for a current Dartmouth student. The purpose of DALA's mentoring program is to help students transition into their new careers or graduate programs. Mentors need not be guidance experts but should be willing to serve as sounding boards for students who are about to take those next big steps.

As a mentor, you will assist a student in developing his or her professional career and as a result, further develop your own leadership skills. You will be asked to share your knowledge and expertise, and expected to help your mentee think through and define his/her career-related goals and plans.

Ideally, mentors should interact with their mentees at least once a semester throughout the academic year. Keep in mind that effective mentors are easily accessible, committed to the relationship, and interested in developing themselves and others.

Please fill out the information below so that the Mentoring Program Committee can pair you with a student. We will provide your prospective mentee with this background information and will provide you with the answers to their questionnaire. We hope to make pairings throughout the year, depending on student and alumni response.

Thank you for helping a current Dartmouth student!
