Email Lists

First of all, add yourself to the VOX Alumni Network (VAN)

The VOX Alumni Network (VAN) provides a way for Dartmouth College undergraduate and graduate alums to keep in touch with each other, and with Dartmouth.

As a Dartmouth alum, you're entitled to a free email account. You may use this account independently of any other email account you may have, or you may set it up automatically to forward all mail sent to it to your preferred email address at work or home.

It's important that you configure your Dartmouth email account as it could be the only way for someone to get in touch with you.

Take a moment to onfigure your Dartmouth email account now.

Gay BlitzMail (i.e., Email) Lists at Dartmouth

(On campus, email is called BlitzMail.) Subscribing to an email list is easy. Here's how:

All you have to do is send an email message from the email account you wish to receive mailings.

Listservs: send your email to majordomo@dartmouth.edu (no subject needed; commands on the subject line are not processed). Type "subscribe listname" in the body of your message, where listname would be the name of the list to which you'd like to subscribe. For example, if you wrote "subscribe q-grads" in the body of your message, you'd be requesting to be added to the email list for issues of interest to GLBT graduate students.
Non-Listservs: Send an email to the person or group in charge of the email list, requesting that you be added.

The links below should fill in an email form for you (if not, you'll have to type your email manually). For listservs, you'll receive confirmation emails explaining the next steps and what you'll need to do if you'd like to unsubscribe later.

Most of these lists are very active and discuss many on-campus and other events you might not hear of otherwise.

Non-Listservs
apoppin - for issues of interest to lesbian/bi/trans/supportive women and event/meeting announcements
stonewall - for issues of interest to gay/bi/trans/supportive men and event/meeting announcements
CGLBTC-list - (Coalition for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender Concerns) for issues of interest to faculty, staff, and administration

Listservs
Q-GRADS - for issues of interest to graduate student at Dartmouth
    dgala-list - for DGALA news
