Dear Class of 2002,
The Class of 2002 10th Reunion in Hanover is June 17 - 19, 2011. Yes, technically this will mark just nine years since we graduated, but as you well know, everything at Dartmouth is a little different and for this reunion, we are clustered with the '01s and '00s, celebrating a joint "10th" reunion.
Our reunions in Hanover are rare (every five years...err, sometimes four), well-attended (over 400 of you came to Hanover for the 5th), and uniquely Dartmouth. Like our undergraduate years, Reunion is many different things to many different people. Take a walk through Pine Park with an old friend; learn what your favorite professors are currently teaching and researching; share a laugh with that tripee whose name you had forgotten; grab a beer at Murphy's with an old flame; take a dip in the Connecticut; check out all the new College buildings. The list goes on.
It's easy to make excuses not to attend Reunion, but we encourage you to lose your excuses and take the plunge, like we all did when we signed up for Freshman Trips. If you're best friends can't make it, it'll be like when they were on off term and you built new friendships. If you've got a spouse and kids, let them fall in love with Dartmouth (and hire a babysitter through the College). And if you've lost your youthful good looks, join the club and head straight to the kegs!
Reunion is a time to share some nostalgia, reconnect with classmates and enjoy Hanover in all its June glory. We hope to see you there.
