                                            Summary of Class Officers Weekend - September 25,26 2009

  • "Campaign for the Dartmouth Experience: Update"
  • "New Officer Training (by positions)"
  • "New Perspectives on the Brain - a class lecture by Professor Jernstedt" (fascinating)
  • Reception and Dinner at the "West Gym" (the old gym)
    Saturday September 26 - - Officer's Association meetings and Multifunctional meetings
  • "Dartmouth Alumni Magazine by Editor Plottner, or
  • "Hill Winds Traditions Tour" leaving from Hopkins Center
  • Lunch at the West Gym with Trustee Albert Mulley Jr. speaking and Class Awards
  • "New Ideas and Best Practices Forums (choice of three stimulating subjects)
  • "Dorm Cluster Meetings with Students
  • Continental breakfasts were available at all Officer meeting locations
     for the Webmasters, suggestions included setting up a prospective alternate for this position, which is a good idea, encouraging members to register their e-mail address with the College Alumni Relations for ease of communication within the Dartmouth Community, and being sure that the class website is updated frequently, a real problem with some classes
    It evidently is still a problem in some classes as "communications" volunteers compete for classmates attention (not in ours). It was a worthwhile weekend!.
