Jennifer Casey of Alumni Relations for several months to bring
about ideas and plans for THE GREATEST CLASS REUNION ever.

President Warren Daniell's  report on the PLANNING :


It started at 10:00 AM Dec. 5, 2007 when John Hatheway, Bud Gedney and I met with Corine Dungey, Assistant Director of Alumni Events, to kick off planning for our 60th, which will take place
June 9-11 2008 (Mon.-Wed.)
. John and Bud have thankfully volunteered to be co-chairmen of the upcoming Reunion. We couldn't have two who are more experienced. One certainty is that rooms for 1948 classmates will be available in the Hanover Inn, along with a central dormitory and off-campus option. John and Bud will be in frequent touch with Corine, who promises to be very helpful. They are also setting up the reunion committee; Bud Munson has agreed to be Treasurer for the event, and many of the rest of you are likely to be contacted.

At our Mini Reunion, John Hatheway announced the current activities and arrangements:

PLAN FOR 60th REUNION

14 Double rooms are being reserved at the Hanover Inn - (until January 30, 2008)
10 Double rooms are being reserved at the Fireside Inn at the low rate of: $99.95
Middle Mass will be the Class Dorm (Mon. & Tues.) with Private Baths, -Handicapped accessible

Fabulous Fifty-Fifth Reunion *** (2003)


Ray Richard, our red-hot Reunion Chairman for the "Fabulous 55th" put together a top-notch team of loyal '48s who had long been meeting, thinking, planning and scheming to bring about a Great Party for

"DARTMOUTH'S GREATEST CLASS"
held on:
Monday June 9 - Wednesday June 11, 2003 in Hanover.
With an optional SIGHTSEEING day, Thursday June 12
and an optional Moosilauke Overnight Sunday June 8 (see below)

Ray held his last of many meetings, June 3, 2003, in Norwich before the regular monthly luncheon.
Result: A truly enjoyable and memorable reunion..


Plans were made for 75 attendees based on responses to date. A final mailing went out to all classmates. It was a masterpiece of information, schedules, directions and a campus map.

Special opportunity for outdoors people D.O.C. MOOSILAUKE MOUNTAIN OVERNIGHT
The Ravine Lodge was available for each of the five reuning classes 1943 through 1968 Sunday June 8 & Monday June 9.
This included a 5 pm reception (BYOB) 6:30 Vegetarian Dinner and songs, stories and fireplace fire.
And on Monday, a 7:30 Country Breakfast at the Lodge plus a Trail Lunch provided. The Drurys, Brisbins and Fosters enjoyed this "roughing it" outing with other classes. Bunk beds, foam mattresses, sheets, blankets and towel provided.
