On a beautiful weekend in Hanover, eight of our class officers assembled to meet and mingle with their counterparts, compare notes and find out how we might better serve the Class and the College.  Hank Nachman, Jack Sutton, Loye
Miller, Ed Weisenfeld, Dave Batchelder, Jerry Mitchell, Herb Knight and your Webmaster together with their spouses, etc.
attended seminars on topics ranging from communication and physical changes and opportunities for alumni programs to
how to motivate and recognize volunteers and their efforts.  No other class was as well represented, numerically as well as qualitatively.
    There were separate meetings of each category of officer as well as discussion groups categorized by decade.  President Wright spoke at  Friday's dinner, reporting on the decline in endowment last year (5.6%), the increase in the Dartmouth College Fund (formerly the Alumni Fund) in dollars but adversely affected by declining participation and the spending cuts to be instituted as a result.
The last session dealt with the changes contemplated in alumni governance and trustee nomination procedures that are under discussion.  The following photos show your officers at work and at play.
