Obituary Donald M. Binks
Donald M. Binks died of a heart attack May 28, 1989 in Fox Lake, Illinois. Don was President of Binks Electronics, Inc, a Chicago consulting firm that specialized in machine design, automation and electrical engineering. One notable example of his work was his design for Swift of a machine that made 500 miles of sausage casing a day. Don's business was international in scope and took him to Italy in the 1970's.
Upon graduation from Dartmouth, Don married Elizabeth Lobdell, with whom he had two daughters, Rebecca Binks and Lizbeth Binks Kritzler. Don and Elizabeth divorced in 1984. Don is also survived by his mother, Lyda Tate Banks and a grandson Paul.
