FALL MINI REUNIONS 2009 - CLASS 1953

SEPTEMBER 19TH

COLGATE (1:30 PM) – POST GAME AT JOHN AND JANE SPRINGER’S, 27 Birch Point Lane,  Sunapee, NH 03782  (603) 763 5679.  Dinner will be at a restaurant between Sunapee and Hanover.  Leave Hanover going South on Lebanon St. (route 120).  Go south on I-89 to exit 12A. After exit, go right at stop sign and drive ½ mile to stop sign. Go right on Rt 11 (west) 3.4 miles to blinker. Go left on Main St.  Stay straight through Harbor. The road becomes Lake Ave.  2Miles from blinker, turn left on Birch Pt. Rd. Go left at fork on to Birch Pt . Lane.   The Springer’s are the last house on left

OCTOBER 3RD

Penn (1:30 PM) – POST GAME AT DONNA AND CHUCK REILLY’S.  49 Ferson Road, Hanover, (603) 643-7281.  Go north on Route 10 toward Lyme, 3.3 miles past the Chieftain Motel.  Turn right onto Goodfellow Road.  Go 2 miles to the end of Goodfellow and turn left onto Hanover Center Road. Go ¼ mile on Hanover Center Road and turn right onto Ferson Road.  Go approximately 1 mile.  Number 49 will be on your right (the mailbox with the number is on the left, opposite the driveway).

OCTOBER 23RD

HOMECOMING BONFIRE, DARTMOUTH NIGHT!  Friday night snacks and cocktails (5:00 to 7:00 PM) and after bonfire reception at the Zimmerman Lounge, Blunt Alumni Center.  Blunt Alumni Center is the white building off the northwest corner of the green, and is a great place from which to watch the bonfire.  There will be the mini reunion bar and “noshes”.

OCTOBER 24TH

9:00 AM, Saturday morning. Class meeting, at Phil Beekman’s, 52 Oak Ridge Road

COLUMBIA (1:30 PM)

Post game reception and dinner at Phil Beekman’s.  52 Oak Ridge Road,  West Lebanon.  Go south on Main Street (Route 10) from the Hanover Inn, just over 1 mile.  At Sachem Athletic Field, turn right onto Oak Ridge Road.  Follow Oak Ridge Road to the river.  Number 52 will be on your right.  Menu: TBA.

NOVEMBER 11TH

CORNELL (12;30 PM) – POST GAME AT THE SIEGAL’S.  Cottage I-4, Quail Hollow (365 North Main Street, West Lebanon).  Starting at the Hanover Inn, go south (toward West Lebanon) on Main Street (Route 10) for 1.7 miles to the entrance to Quail Hollow, on your right. (The Quail Hollow entrance is actually #365 North Main Street; there are stone “Quail Hollow” signs with the number “365” on each side of the entrance). You will pass the Campion Skating Rink on your left approximately 0.2 miles before the Quail Hollow entrance.  There is usually an American flag flying to the right just before the Quail Hollow entrance. 
Turn right on Quail Hollow road.  Go to the bottom of the hill where the road ends in a “T”.  You will be facing a small shed with mailboxes.
Turn left at the bottom of the hill, and then take an immediate right up another hill.  There are buildings on both sides of the road.  Building “I” (as in India) is the first building on your left (after the corner building).  Cottage I-4 is the last town home on the right of building “I”.  There is a wall sculpture of a fishing boat hanging on the porch. NOVEMBER 21ST

PRINCETON (12:30 PM) – POST GAME AT THE ZIMMERMANN’S, 60 Oak Ridge Road, West Lebanon. (603) 643-0053.  Go south on Main Street (Route 10) from the Hanover Inn, just over 1 mile.  At Sachem Athletic Field, turn right onto Oak Ridge Road.  Follow Oak Ridge Road to the river.  Number 60 will be on your right.
