DAVID ERWIN REED

died on January 28, 2000 in Canandaigua, New York. Dave entered Dartmouth from Auburn East High School in Auburn, New York. He was a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He received his M.D. from the University of Rochester Medical School. Dave was Professor Emeritus of Family Medicine at the University of Rochester where he was a leading force in the development and acceptance of Family Practice Residency in Rochester and Pittsburgh, PA where he had previously practiced.

He is survived by his wife, Nancy, and his children, Scott, Susan, Stuart, Dwayne and Dianne.
