Since 2002
the Dartmouth Class of 1954 has been planning class trips:
...(1) May 2002- Athens and the Greek Islands on the Callisto (14 couples). ...(2) October 2004- The Dalmatian Coast on the Monet (29 couples). ...(3) June 2006- Dordogne and Provence in southern France (9 couples). ...(4) March 2008- Morocco and Andalusia, Spain on the Callisto (18 couples). All of these trips were only for '54s (no other groups). They are not Dartmouth College trips but are Class of '54 trips planned by '54s.
It is now time for another '54
Class trip!
On June 18, 2011 we will travel, as a Class, to the Italian Lake District. We will stay at the Hotel Regina Olga for seven nights, which overlooks Lake Como, tour Varenna, Bellagio, the Villa del Balbianello, Como ( including a visit to the Aldo Galli Academy of Fine Arts for a private presentation on art restoration and a hands-on class in the Centro Studi Alberghiero Casnati Cooking School followed by an authentic Italian meal), Stresa, a boat cruise on both Lake Como and Lake Maggiore, the Borromean Islands ( including a walk through Isola Bella's fabulous gardens) and Milan ( a viewing of Leonardo da Vinci's THE LAST SUPPER), and take day trips throughout the Italian Lake District and Milan. Contact me for a brochure describing the trip in more detail. The cost is $3195 per person, not including air fare. So far 12 couples, who have been on previous trips, have signed on. We have room for five more couples. Join us for a fascinating trip...
