When we were born in 1931-1933 our life expectancy was approximately 61 years. We will soon be approaching our 80th birthdays. That is something to celebrate and celebrate we will.

The class of 1954 is planning three birthday parties to celebrate this event:

 

(1) A Boston celebration the weekend of October 29, 2011. This is the weekend of the Dartmouth- Harvard football game.

Remember our student weekends in Cambridge for the Harvard game? Unfortunately, The Old Howard no longer exists.

This event is being chaired by Dick Page, assisted by Jane Page, John Gillespie, Gary Zwart and Cynthia Sunderland.

WE WILL HOLD OUR CLASS EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING DURING THIS WEEK-END.

 

(2) A Florida celebration in conjunction with our annual golf-tennis outing. There will be events for non-golfers and non-tennis players. This celebration will be held in February - March, 2012. It will be on the west coast of Florida (venue to be determined). It will be chaired by Mort Galper and Jim Tofias (committee to be formed).
 

(3) A New York celebration in the Spring of 2012.This celebration will be chaired by Dave Mandelbaum (committee to be formed).

As plans are formalized you will receive further information.

We hope that a large percentage of the class will join these celebrations.
