DPCS: Our Premier Project at Dartmouth

   

   Dartmouth Partners in Community Service is the gold standard of mentored community service programs and the only one of its kind at Dartmouth.

   The Class of 1959 launched this one-of-its-kind project in 1995.  Now we have 14!

   Here are some quick facts:

      Undergraduate Internships: 8-10 week terms in summer, fall, winter, spring

     Postgraduate Fellowships: One-year terms, running year-round

     Undergraduate Interns Placed: 508 since 1994

     Postgraduate Fellows Placed: 25 since 2010

     Alumni Mentors: 295 alumni from 49 classes

     Community Service Orgs: 330+ in 27 states

     Participating Classes (14):   1944, 1947, 1954, 1958, 1959, 1963, 1967, 1977, 1979, 1986, 1987, 1990, 2002, 2009

    Endowment: Approx. $972,000 (interest applied to intern stipends / expenses)

     Annual Operating Expenses: Approx. $150,000 (98% toward intern stipends)
