Fundraising Results 2002

The Class of 1960 has another superb year in support of the Dartmouth College Fund. Our class set a new year-out record for classes reaching forty-three years since graduation. We raised $396,915 which eclipsed the old record of $312,821. The college finished the fund year at $24,075,895.

Class participation was 62.6% and we had a 81 leadership donors. The entire class can be proud of our achievement. I am counting on each of you next year in our mutual challenge to return to 70% participation which we achieved in 1999 and in our 40th reunion year in 2000. We could have achieved over 70% this year except for an unusually high number of open pledges as well as classmates who were donors in 2001 but not in 2002. So, be part of the team that helps the Great Class of 1960 set new records of achievement by making an early, and hopefully, an increased gift to the college next year.
