The numbers are in, and it's official. '60 broke more records than any other class in the DCF.

• We aimed to raise $425,000. We raised $512,934. That's 121% of our goal.
• We aimed to get 77% of our classmates to give. We went over the top with an amazing 78.2%.
• We set Dartmouth College Fund records for.
  • Total giving by a class 46 years out and total giving by a non-reunion class
  • Percentage of classmates giving this year (Only the 50-year class nudged us with 79.8%)
  • Collecting pledges. Ours is probably the only pre-50th reunion class in history to collect 100%.
• We won the Dartmouth College Fund Committee Award for Excellence for the second year in a row, and placed first of all classes in the Green Derby.
• We also had the largest (and best) troop of agents of any class, 70 men who made the critical difference in setting all those records.

The long list of agents and donors were sent in postal mail and are not on the web for privacy reasons.

In all, the DCF raised $30.7 million in unrestrictred gifts. That's one out of twelve dollars in Dartmouth's annual budget. As when we were students, these gifts are used to support athletics, acedemics, small classes, and need-blind admissions. Fifty-six percent of students receive some form of financial aid. The DCF also had the largest number of donors, 24,618, since the inception a century ago.
