The numbers are in, and it's official. '60 broke two Dartmouth College Fund records.

• Total giving by a class 49 years out.
• Percentage of classmates giving in a class 49 years out.
• Our dollar total was $490,793, a bit shy of our goal, but a terrific performance in a tough economic year.
• And, most promising, 83.6% of our class participated.
• We won the Dartmouth College Fund Committee Award for the fourth straight year, and 1960 placed first of all non-reunion classes in the Green Derby.
• We also had the best troop of agents of any class, 65 men who made the critical difference in setting all those records.

The long list of agents and donors were sent in postal mail and are not on the web for privacy reasons.

The Dartmouth College Fund raised $38.1 million in fiscal year 2009, down from the record $42.2 million raised in the previous year. Alumni participation remained high at 46 percent, off just one percentage point. The Fund provides unrestricted dollars which directly support financial aid, faculty and academic programs, athletics, the arts, and service opportunities for students around the world.
