Reunion Golf Tournament  Class of 1961 Reunion Logo

“CLASS of 1961 FIRST and LAST 50th REUNION GOLF TOURNAMENT/OUTING” will be held at the Hanover Country Club on Monday, June 13, 2011.

Tee-off time will be at 9AM, shot-gun start. The golf round should take approx. 4-4.5 hours and will be followed be a picnic box lunch supplied by Dartmouth as part of our total reunion cost signed up for by each classmate separately from the golf participation fee. The golf participation fee will be
$87 per participant, which will cover golf, golf cart, prizes and a modest fee (tip) for the Hanover CC golf pro for setting up the tournament /outing. Rental clubs are available in limited quantity at $25 per set. To date, 15 classmates and 6 spouses have indicated that they want to participate. Any classmate and guest can participate, even if he has only signed up for Phase 1 of the Reunion program.
Note that although the preliminary schedule mailed to all classmates shows the ’61 golf tournament/outing as taking place on Sunday afternoon, it was determined that the preliminary date and time period indicated would not enable completion of 18 holes and a shot-gun start; thus the outing was shifted to Monday morning, where we have a 5 hour time period to comfortably complete the golf round and have time for a box lunch and awards session at HCC .

All those wishing to participate in the Class golf tournament/outing should send a SEPARATE payment check made out to “Victor S. Rich” for $87 per participant ($112 if also renting golf clubs) and mail it NOW to Vic Rich, 5 Red Ground Road, Old Westbury, NY 11568.  If any questions, email me until May 25th ONLY (I retire on that date) at victor.rich@mcgladrey.com or after May 25th at richwind13@gmail.com,  OR call me at my office (212/372-1166) until May 25th ONLY or at my home (516/626-9043) or on my cell (516/446-3977).  Please commit and send me your confirmation payment as soon as possible as it takes time to set everything up and schedule with the Hanover Country Club. Thanks.

NOTE:  If not confirmed and paid for prior to the start of Reunion Week, HCC may not be able to include your late participation in our golf outing. If the course should close because of inclement weather, monies will be returned to everyone.  Otherwise, once we commit to HCC, then any refunds will be based on what HCC will return to us. HCC should at least be responsive to disability or death.  Looking forward to seeing you all in just a few short weeks.
