I have been a full time sculptor since I left Dartmouth.
My work is in the permanent collection of thirty art museums world-wide
including the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Guggenheim Museum,
New York, the National Museum of American Art, Washington D.C, the National
Museum of Modern Art, Paris, and the National Art Museum of China.
I have had over fifty solo exhibitions and my work has been included
in hundreds of group exhibitions in the US, Europe and Asia. I have
represented the US in a number of international Biennales and I have
been commissioned to do over thirty monumental outdoor sculptures, for
cities and institutions internationally including the Beijing Olympics
and the Shanghai Expo.
I am currently working on large sculptures for the cities of Palo Alto,
CA and Wuhu, China.
I live and work in Oakland California.
