I'm a sometimes painter largely self taught by reading how to books about watercolor painting. I generally work in my studio using sketches and photos for reference. I'll always check out galleries we pass showing watercolors to see what I can learn, but mostly to adjust my ego by comparing my efforts with what others are doing. I'll continue to paint when the urge is there and with luck maybe sell a few.
