JOHN M. McNAMARA

Services for John Michael McNamara, son of Mr. and Mrs. John S. McNamara, of 135 East 74th street, New York City, formerly of Bridgeport, who died Tuesday morning (5/29/62), will take place today at 4-p.m. in the Campbell funeral home, Madison avenue and 81st street, New York city. Burial will be Monday in Block Island.

A native of Bridgeport, he was graduated from Grace Church school and the Collegiate school, both in New York City.

For the past year, on special leave of absence from his classes at Dartmouth College, he worked as copy boy at United Press International in New York City and had planned to return to college in the fall.

His mother, the former Eileen Wilson, is the daughter of Mrs. I P W. Finnegan, of Westport His father, associated with J. Walter Thompson, is a former reporter for The Bridgeport Post and New York Herald Tribune. Mr. McNamara also is a former Post reporter.

John Michael McNamara, 22, a member of the Class of 1964 at Dartmouth College, died Tuesday at his home, 135 E. 74th St., after a brief illness. Mr. McNamara had been working as a copy boy for United| Press International here while on a one-year leave from the College. Surviving are his father, John S. McNamara, a former reporter for the New York Herald Tribune; and his mother, Mrs. Eileen Wilson McNamara.
