He was born on Jan. 26, 1943, in Portsmouth, Va. He was a 19 year-old student at Dartmouth College when he became afflicted with schizophrenia.
He is survived by his mother Susie Tenney of Santa Cruz Calif., brothers Steve Tenney of Albany, Ore., David Tenney of Las Cruces, N.M., and Scott and his wife Vera Tenney of Santa Cruz, Calif.; nieces and nephews Tara, Dylan, Alexis, Jessica, Lisa, Amy, Sara, and Jes,se: and his best friend Leonard Lehane of Federal Way.
