The Class of 1966 Scoreboard at Memorial Field was dedicated on October 21, 1995 with a halftime ceremony during the homecoming weekend game with Colgate. Class President Bob Serenbetz, Jim Lustenader and 1965 football team alumnus Erv Burkholder walked onto the field to present the scoreboard to the College.

Allan Anderson first heard of the "opportunity" to sponsor the new electronic scoreboard in May of 1995. After Executive Committee approval, Jim Lustenader headed up the fundraising and getting class recognition for the gift, i.e. "The Class of 1966 Scoreboard" with signage. The College gave us two years to raise $50,000, which we did easily as the College agreed to count it towards the College's capital drive during that period. The Class received a "Special Recognition Award" in 1998 for the gift.
