Wayne Davis follows in Barr’s Footsteps: Garners Top Alumni Award

Wayne, who has done just about everything an individual can do for our class, was honored by the College with the Dartmouth College Alumni Award at Class Officers Weekend in October. Our class is extremely fortunate to have Wayne among our ranks, not only for the work he has done for us and the College, but also for his dedication and devotion to various charities and causes in the greater Boston area. Wayne joins Bob Barr, last year’s winner, and makes us all proud to be members of the Class of ’73.  Congratulations Wayne!

Here's what the College has to say about the Award.

The Alumni Council presents the Dartmouth College Alumni Award annually to a handful of alumni who have demonstrated extraordinary service to Dartmouth and civic organizations in addition to career accomplishment. These awards are presented to individuals who graduated at least 25 years ago. The first Alumni Award was presented to Ernest Martin Hopkins, Class of 1901, in 1954.  Since then, more than 400 alumni have been honored.
