"LOOK WHO ATTENDED"*

This day is called the Class of 1977 35th Reunion
They that outlive this day and come safe home
Will stand a-tiptoe when this day is named
And rouse them at the name of DAR7MOU7H

They that shall see this day and live t' old age
Will yearly on the vigil feast their classmates
And say, "Tomorrow is DAR7MOU7H reunion day
Then will they strip their sleeves and show their scars
And say, "These wounds I had at the 35th reunion"

Old folks forget; yet all shall be forgot,
But they'll remember, with advantages
What feats they did that day. Then shall our names,
Familiar in their mouths as household words —
Nancy the reunion chair, Granzow-Simpson and Deevy,
Fauver-Stuber and Volanakis, Replogle and Bjorkland.
Beams, Duffy and Chapman—
Be in their flowing cups freshly remembered.

This story shall the good alumni teach their children,
And DAR7MOU7H shall ne'er go by
From this day to the ending of the world,
But we in it shall be remembered,

We few, we happy few, we band of classmates.
For those today that share the 35th reunion
Shall be my classmates; be they ne'er so vile,
This day shall gentle their condition.

And Class of 77 alumni in the world now abed
Shall think themselves accursed they were not here,
And hold their egos cheap whiles any speaks
That met with us at the 35th REUNION.
