Robin Hill passed away from breast cancer on March 3, 2000. Robin had been living in Olney, Maryland, with her husband of 14 years, See-Yan Lam (see his listing), and their son Benjamin. After graduating from Dartmouth, Robin received a master’s degree in psychology from the University of the Pacific and a doctorate in medical psychology from the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences.
Robin was a social science analyst at worked at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute at the National Institutes of Health, where she had been employed since 1989. She received the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute Merit Award in 1996. Robin was a member of the Society for the Psycho- logical Study of Social Issues and the James Mar- shall Public Policy Oversight Committee. She was active in the Unitarian Universalist Church of Rock- ville and Action in Montgomery, a coalition of houses of worship that promote social issues.
