Class of 79 Contributions
to the '02-'03 Dartmouth College Fund
The 2002-2003 Dartmouth College Fund year ended on June 30, 2003. The Class of 1979 made a strong contribution to another outstanding year. We raised $442,963 (exceeding our goal of $400K) with 585 classmates (61%) participating (totally crushing our 53% participation goal).
Our Class set a number of Class and College records this year regarding participation:
- We set a new Dartmouth participation record for a class 24 years out with 61% of our classmates making a gift! The old record was 56%.
- We shattered the Dartmouth record for a class with the most donors in a Fund year ever! The old record of 535 donors was set by the Class of 86 in FY 96.
- We had the highest participation rate of all classes through 42 years out (Class of 1961 and younger) from graduation!
- We broke our own Class record for the most classmates making a gift. Our old record here was 528 donors.
