Yale - 10/10/2009

The mini reunion circuit got off to a rousing start at the Yale Bowl in Dartmouth’s only away football game in the NY market this year. Unfortunately we couldn’t help bring Buddy a win which would have ensured eternal sponsorship, but our cheers were in the right spot.
Securing a parking spot two hours prior to game time with the Football Parents was pretty key. Early arrivals included Scott Brooks and his son Julian, Joe Nastri (without Paola) and old guys like former football captains Wayne Young and Tom Csatari as well as 79Forever Mr. Epstein.  President Waszoo and Joy made a timely arrival just as we cracked the first ’79 Class Drink followed closely by the last horse in the Gate (but first to the 50 yard line) Hillwinds Peggy herself along with David and eventually Eric and some classmates.
The first half included a rendezvous with Andy Schoder, Charlie Hatton and his bride and Chip Fauver (his bride enjoying a Cougar weekend*). We had not found them pre-game but you will seen them in the post game pics. They had found an SAE ’78 party pre-game…see what other treasures you can find if you come ladies? Michelle Lavigne and her groom joined us post game as well, along with Greg Henry, ’80.
