NYC2 2004 - 03/19/2004
New York City, as usual, led the pack and inaugurated the “79th day mini-reunions” on Thursday night. The soirée was held at the Yale Club which is, more importantly, the home of the Dartmouth Club of New York. Open bar. Good talk around a pool table about our own bounces and rebounds over the past 25 years.
We talked about families, frat basement memories, sailing, development of toll roads, Boy Scouting, writing musicals, Martha Stewart, Columbia University, acting careers, other classmates, kids starting their college searches, working in the Big Apple, plans for the June reunion, the incredible strength of our class, the overall state of the College, getting another drink, how great the reunion yearbook will be (with special added features), and finally needing to catch the next train.
We met at six and broke up three hours later promising to meet again in three months on Hanover Plain.
Attendees included:
Kathryn Augenblick
Beth Blatt
Chip Behal, Jr.
Brendan Cameron
Laurie Rosenfield Falk
Otho Kerr, III
David Klinges, Jr.
John Marshall
Bill Mitchell
Debra Sortor Parnon
Stanley Weil
Mark Winkler
It was suggested and agreed to by many that these 79th day reunions should become an annual event for the class.
Also, everyone should visit Viewpoint.com for Bill’s sake.
