We had an excellent L.A. ‘79 mini-reunion. We met for cocktails at the Casa Del Mar, which is a hotel on the beach in Santa Monica. There was much reminiscing about the good ol days as well as talk about family and plans for reunion. Most of the group stuck around until about 9:30. Ted O’Winterer, Stephen O’Neill and I then reconvened at the classy Chez Jay beer pit and steakhouse for a little late dinner before calling it a night. Stephen never did sing the 2nd verse of Men of Dartmouth but we managed to have a few laughs anyway.

The group consisted of: Ted Winterer, Bert Edwards, Dave Hall, Larry Mills, Paul Wetmore and wife Melinda, Bob Foster and wife Jody, Stephen O’Neill and wife Barbara, and yours truly.

We had such a good time that we agreed to try to get together on an annual basis going forward. I’ll have to put that one on the calendar.
