Michelle Montgomery Ragsdale is married to a former Marine Corps Captain/helicopter pilot, now a geophysicist. A midlife crisis brought her back to undergrad for three years and then vet school at Texas A & M for four years from which she graduated summa cum laude in May. Although no kids yet, her hobby is competitive dog obedience, and they have two Labs ranked among the top in the country.Diana Goode announced that Mallory Goode Fons was born on July 21. She joins her sisters, Kelsey 6 and Hailey 3 who think that she is a wonderful addition to the family and a great new toy. According to Kelsey and Hailey, Mallory's nickname is "Mine." Diana is back to work at a non-profit called Operation Fuel, which raises money for emergency energy assistance. Forty-five percent (or 456) of our classmates contributed, which was the second best participation rate among all classes in the '80s. The 2000 Alumni Fund total raised $23 million.

We'd like to add your name to this list. All the sub-committees listed here would be glad of some help, and we definitely need folks who would be interested in organizing children's activities, evening entertainment, and other events. If you are interested in planning an event (e.g. a party, an art show, a speakers' forum, a club reunion) or simply helping out at reunion
(e.g. during registration) please let us know. In addition, if there are several '86s in your area and you need an excuse to get together - just organize a mini-reunion! The class will fund up to $250 in costs per event and it is a great way to publicize our 15th.

The schedule for reunion currently includes a trip up Moosilauke (both an overnight and a day hike), a Friday night bash with the '85s and '87s, open mike at the Top of the Hop, a Saturday evening party, academic open houses, and a reunion run on Sunday morning. We'd like to make this fun for adults and children alike so please send us an email and share your ideas.

Finally, don't forget that we will elect a new set of class officers during the reunion so if you or someone you know is interested in serving the class, let our class executive committee know (send an email to Liz or Burgie Howard). Let's set some new records in Hanover (our record for most alumni attending a 10 year reunion still stands)! See you at our 15th.
