Jim Morris finished law school at UCLA this past Spring and started with a law firm in Riverside, CA (Best, Best and Krieger). Also putting his law degree to good use, Phil Privitera works as an Assistant District Attorney in Norfolk County, Massachusetts.
From the desktop of Ted Carleton: "Mike Uram is working as a physicians assistant at the Diagnostic Center for Men in New York. If you have a problem with your 'private parts,' show them to Mike. Brian Mittman is at Harvard Business School but is very reticent and wants no one to know about it. And just to make this public knowledge, Holly Gallivan, during senior week, told me that if she wasn't married by our tenth reunion that she would marry me [ed note: one drunken night, obviously]. Little did she realize that our tenth reunion is actually taking place a year early: 1999. You got two years--better start working on it, or I could be a serious drain on that doctor's salary."
David "DC" Clark recently became dean of students at the Ransom Everglades High School in Miami (his alma mater). This fall, David proudly won his first game as head varsity football coach! David, Nicole ('89) and daughter Amber would love to hear from any '90's passing through South Florida(954) 450-1122. DC, we hope that you are more gentle on the sidelines of Miami than you were on the football field in Hanover!
The Divine Mr. B. William Boulware continues his work for the Ho-Chunk Tribe in Wisconsin and captained a team in the Wisconsin AIDS walk in September. William's celebrity file now includes breakfasting with The Divine Miss M., Bette Midler, at a private reception the morning of the AIDS walk. William wants to hear from Jeff Hanissian and Jen Lowryand so do WE.
We were pleasantly surprised to see Brett Oeser join the Homecoming Parade this year, marking his first return to Hanover since graduation. Brett works in Nashville as a lawyer for the firm Manier, Herod, Hollabaugh and Smith. His specialty is in the area of real estate and construction insurance laws. Brett attended Vanderbilt Law School, where he roomed with Rick Hazelton. At Homecoming, Brett remarked that he hadn't seen so many '90's (and there were nine of us: Peter Zimm, Ken Hancock, Martin "Marvin" Stephan, Virginia Maffei Stephan, Brian Urkowitz, Robin Plager, Sharon "Shannon" Doodian and Rita "Anita" Patel) since Pryce Boeye's wedding. Brett encourages all of his Tri Kap brothers to send in updated green cards!
Ken Hancock, our dedicated computer guru in Nashua, greeted us seasonally from Papau New Guinea, Milene Bay and the Solomon Islands in the South Pacific. Ken took this well-deserved vacation after a busy year with VideoGuide, which was recently bought by Gemstar Devel. Corp. (the wizards behind VCR Plus). Ken promises all '90's who send in their green cards a personal house visit to show off his technologically perfect underwater photos and set those clocks that blink 12:00 on your VCRs. Thanks, Ken!
Well, you can get up and wipe now. We're done. Please keep sending the great photos, announcements, articles, class dues and green cards. Although our postal service representative is staring us at this moment with an AK-47, we are committed to keeping the presses rolling in 1997. Keep us informed!
Yours in green,
It's Cheryl!
