Class Notes - January/February 2007

Hello '99s, and Happy New Year! I hope you enjoyed the holiday season, and that 2007 is memorable and fulfilling for you all. There are quite a few updates to share with you.

First, John Fowler writes that he has gained extensive experience with the long, dark nights of winter since leaving Dartmouth. As an ice driller, John has worked in remote parts of the world, though this has not dampened his strong Dartmouth spirit. John writes that he has "been travelling and working around the world from the geographic North Pole to Greenland and to the geographic South Pole, and have been taking pictures of the ’99 banner along the way". Keep an eye out for John’s photos in an upcoming issue of the Class Newsletter!

Curtis Wilgosh also has news to share. Curtis graduated in May 2006 with an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis and is now a Business Planning and Analysis Manager with a manufacturing firm in Madison, Wisconsin. On top of the new job, Curtis continues to be an active partner on a 2,500 acre family farm which keeps him quite busy. However, he did find enough time to attend a wedding at the Four Seasons Hotel in Washington, DC. Whilst there, he ran into Scott Peach and Samantha Sommers, and the three had a great time.

Seth Mensah writes that he is enjoying life as an internal medicine physician in upstate New York. He also writes that Greg Sainnoval is also in medicine. Greg is in his third year of a surgical residency at Christiana Hospital in Delaware.

Finally, Nicole Eftychiou writes that she married Robert Edward Post II on April 30, 2006. Nicole writes that "the ceremony was at my childhood church in Tenafly, New Jersey" with a reception at The View-on-Hudson in Piermont, New York. Following the reception, the newlyweds travelled to St. Thomas of the Virgin Islands to celebrate their honeymoon. Nicole and Robert both graduated from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and have started their new lives together in Charleston, South Carolina where both are in medical residencies.

That's all the news for now. Have a great New Year and I look forward to sharing your news in the coming months!
