Homecoming
Homecoming Mini-Reunion
Over 100 '07s turned out in Hanover for a reception sponsored by the Class of 2007 Executive Committee in Tindle Lounge. Classmates escaped from the cold, rainy Green for hot, spiced cider mixed with their choice of bourbon or Amaretto along with more than a dozen hot Lou's pies, beer and wine. Though the event was scheduled to end at 9 PM, '07s stuck around well into the night and caught up or made plans for the rest of the weekend. For the first time in a long time, several '07s manned the door and checked faces and ID's to ensure just '07s and their guests were stopping by.
Andrew Eastman '07 displayed a particular flair for design after illustrating several helpful posters directing our classmates to the event from outside Food Court, while Kevin Hudak '07 and Pete Kenseth '07 served up drinks behind the bar.

Notes
Hello ’07s! I hope everyone is enjoying the first few months after college. We finally have our own section in the Dartmouth Alumni Magazine. Like the mini-reunions, class website, and class newsletter, this is another great way to stay updated with the ’07 class.
In every quarterly issue, this column will provide important class news and highlight many of the wonderful things that ’07s are doing. Most importantly, they are giving me a 600-word limit! That is a lot of updating. I say milk your dues for all they’re worth and let’s fill this column if we can.
So, let me know what you do, where you travel, what awards you win, mountains you climb, marathons you run, mini-reunions you attend, degrees in further education you receive, who your baby daddy is, when you get a bonus are at your investment banking job, how much of that you plan to give me, and if you get married. Sorry for dropping the M-bomb so soon (or the CU-bomb for those not living in Massachusetts).
Speaking of which, we’ve had our first. Trey Blincoe and Jillian Skeeters got married in Virginia on June 24th, just two weeks after graduation. Lisa Caldeira, Cathy Gaito, Gretchen Reynolds, Linzi Sheldon, Drew Fletcher, Dane Schlossberg, and Dave Waslen helped form the bridal party. There was also a bunch of other ’07s in attendance. Congratulations to the newlyweds and all other Dartmouth ’07s who are currently engaged. I’m jealous because while I eventually want an M.A., perhaps a Ph.d., I equally can’t wait to get my M.R.S. from a strapping Dartmouth man.
I’m sure that is not all that is happening, so send me your updates! Also, if you know a classmate who is doing great things, write in about them. We get to live vicariously through you, especially since I am still unemployed.
For all updates, or if you are an alum looking to hire, please send an e-mail to the address I’ve provided below. Until next time,
—John Valdez, jev@alum.dartmouth.org
