The Dartmouth
Club of Georgia is primarily a social club, consisting of about 800 alumni
and 400 students, parents, and friends of the college. Each year, we host
Dartmouth visitors, various events focused on issues at the college and
a number of parties and get-togethers.
We also represent Dartmouth in Georgia and serve as a resource for qualified
and interested high school students to learn more about the college and
undergraduate life in Hanover. One of our most important activities is
performing hundreds of alumni interviews each Winter and Spring. Not only
do we help the Admissions Office arrive at their decisions, but we also
give the applicants a chance to learn about Dartmouth from people who
truly know what they're talking about (if this were the Harvard Club website,
that probably would have read, "people who know about which they
are talking" - right?). In any event, please email
Lou Spelios '95 if you'd like to become involved with interviewing.
All of our activities are entirely dependent on the dues we receive from
Georgia alums each year. Please help us continue serving Dartmouth by
paying your dues -- our fiscal year begins July 1. To paraphrase one famous
son of Dartmouth, "It is, sir, a small amount, and yet there are
those who need it." To pay your dues now, or to contribute to our
scholarship fund, please visit the club dues page.
