Dean Lacy, Professor of Government at Dartmouth College, will speak at the annual dinner of the Dartmouth Club of the Piedmont on April 18 at the Inn at Celebrity Dairy near Siler City. The dinner will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Lacy, an expert on the American presidency, will speak on The 2008 Elections and the future of American Politics. In addition to taking questions on his topic after his talk, Lacy said he would be happy to answer questions about the presidential search and Dartmouth’s new president, Jim Yong Kim, the budget cuts and current events at Dartmouth.
Price is $30 for classes 1998 and older and their guests, $25 for classes of 1999-2008 and their guests and parents. Current students and class of 2013 admittees are guests of the Club.
