Program Support Policy
The Dartmouth Club of the Upper Valley strives to support and nurture the lifelong connection between Dartmouth College and her alumni/ae through social and intellectual exchange within its membership. The Club also offers opportunities to build friendships among its members, and fosters connections with current students, faculty and administrators. As an organization that reaches broadly through the Upper Valley, the Club recognizes the roles it can play within the larger community.A small portion of the Club's annual budget may be used for financial support of DCUV activities involving its members with current students and/or selected College programs. This support usually focuses on worthy projects that are in their early stages of existence and can benefit from a modest gift. Each commitment is reevaluated annually, and ongoing support to established efforts, however worthy, is unlikely.
Questions regarding possible support of a particular project should be referred to a DCUV board member.
In addition to support of projects, we do sponsor a scholarship student that our members can support when they pay their dues.
