All three Trustee candidates are coming to meet with members of the DCMW!
Dartmouth’s Minnesota contingent has a strong tradition of involvement in College affairs and has never shied away from communicating to College leaders our views about Dartmouth. Please come to hear two competing Alumni Trustee candidates, John Replogle '88 and Joe Asch '79, share their views about the future direction the College should take, and seize this opportunity to share your views with them. A third candidate, Mort Kondracke '60, is running unopposed and will represent Dartmouth as an Alumni Trustee. He will be there to answer your questions and gather feedback from you.
We are the only Dartmouth Club in the country fortunate enough to have all three candidates attend the same event during this important election year. You'll want to take advantage of this unique opportunity to meet the candidates in person the day before voting begins.

The Event: Alumni Trustee candidates John Replogle '88, Joe Asch '79 and Mort Kondracke '60 are coming to Minneapolis for a one of a kind event at the Minneapolis Club on March 9, 2010 from 5-7pm. The candidates will make a short presentation about their candidacy, answer your questions and be available for one-on-one conversation while mingling with Club members. Voting for the candidates begins the next day, on March 10.
Joe Asch '79 is running for Trustee as a petition candidate. John Replogle '88 was nominated by the Alumni Council for one of the open Alumni-elected Trustee seats. Joe and John are challenging each other for a seat on the Board. Mort Kondracke '60 was also nominated by the Alumni Council for the second open Alumni-elected Trustee seat. He is running unopposed. Refreshments will be served along with a cash bar. Parking is available at the parking ramp adjacent to the Minneapolis Club.

Registration for the Dartmouth on Location: Dead Sea Scrolls event is now open!
You are invited to join fellow Dartmouth alumni and in an exceptional opportunity to see and discuss the Dead Sea Scrolls exhibition with Susan Ackerman '80, Preston H. Kelsey Professor of Religion at Dartmouth and an expert on the religion of ancient Israel.
This will be a special evening filled with culture, intellectual stimulation, a reception and social time to gather with old Dartmouth friends or make to make new ones.

The admissions interviewing season is upon us again. We got off to a great start in December when seven Minnesota candidates were accepted in the Early Decision process for the Class of '14. Now we shift to the regular pool, which once again looks to be a record number. With
processing not yet complete, the College has received over 17,000 applications.
Dartmouth needs your help. Alumni interviews are one of the great distinguishing factors for the College. Candidates are able to develop a personal relationship with an alum and the Admissions office obtains critical insights often not found anywhere else in the application. We believe this leads to better decisions by Admissions. We know it leads to a higher percentage of accepted candidates deciding to attend Dartmouth rather than one of the many other great schools where they have been accepted.
In the next two weeks our District Enrollment Director, Dennis Ryan ?81, will be assigning interviews to those of you who have interviewed in the past and anyone else who would like to participate. If you are interested, please contact Dennis at dryan@faegre.com or
