A Primer on Dartmouth Alumni Career Support
1) An On-Line Career Advisory Service
Once an alum registers on the Vox Alumni Network, you will be able to connect to a service that provides you access to Dartmouth alumni who are willing to provide information and advice about their field of work. A registered alum will be able to search by employer, industry, specialty, geographic region, title, etc. It is specifically designed for alums doing career transitions, relocating, networking. As an additional feature, if you wish to provide internships, job postings or be on a career panel, there is a link that enables you to communicate this directly to career services.
2) Dartmouth Incircle
In-Circle is a social networking program that was designed by a Stanford student a few years ago. Dartmouth will be one of the first Colleges to put this program into use. Alums will access it through the VOX Alumni Network and will be able to "register" themselves and their group of friends, including interests. When they want to plan something socially, such as attending a play, going to see a sporting event, apple picking, whatever, they can reach out to their own circle of friends or open it to others. Stanford found it to be incredibly successful -- they had tens of thousands of alums register within DAYS of launching -- almost all through word of mouth.
3) MonsterTRAK from Monster.com
MonsterTRAK is the leading online global careers site for college students and alumni to find jobs and internships during school and after graduation. Unlike other online career sites, MonsterTRAK enables employers to target their job listings to student and alumni from specific colleges and universities. MonsterTRAK has provided employers with a highly effective recruiting effort and has connected job seekers with employers who are actively seeking their skills.
Each 'Full-time' job posting has a four-week run. Each listing can be posted to an individual school, or an individual state, or nationwide, for a nominal fee. The fee to post a job at Dartmouth is only $25 for 4 weeks.

When you get the MonsterTRAK screen, then click on 'Search Jobs & Internships'. This will take you to another screen. Select the state of NH, and a list of colleges will be presented. Scroll down and highlight Dartmouth College. Follow the authentication instructions, click on 'Search', and proceed.
