Stem Cells - the Promise and the Perils
Update June 1, 2004: Download Dr. Rossant's presentation.
The featured speaker at the next Dartmouth luncheon will be Dr. Janet Rossant, a world-leading medical geneticist and developmental biologist at Mount Sinai Hospital. Her talk: "Stem Cells - the Promise and the Perils" will be accompanied with pictures and slides for those of us who barely eked out a passing grade in Bio 1.
You can find out more about Dr. Rossant at her web site. We are fortunate that Dr. Rossant is enthusiastic about being with us, so please make an effort to attend and try not to ask really stupid questions that would indicate that our only understanding of cells are Motorola flip tops. :-)
