Activate/Update Your Alumni Email Account

You may activate and update your Alumni Email Profile by entering your name (ex. Jane A. Doe 93) and your password below. You will then be able to change your nicknames, preferred email address and URL in your Alumni Email account.

Please note: If you received more than one degree from Dartmouth College or its graduate schools, only your first degree is indicated in your email address.

Nicknames

Your nicknames make it easier for others to find you, if you are known by names other than the one listed in the directory. Nicknames can also include alternate spellings, so that a "Stephen" can also be looked up as "Steve".

You may list up to five nicknames, separated with spaces, for example:

Name: John Q. Doe '86Nicknames: Jack Johnny JQDoe

For example in the above case, if John Doe '86 added the nickname "Jack", then email sent to <Jack.Doe.86@alum.dartmouth.org> would arrive at the email address of John.A.Doe.86@alum.dartmouth.org.

We do discourage giving out your email address using your nicknames. The full address that is provided to you by Dartmouth is unique. Nicknames may affect its uniqueness and you may not receive your messages if someone else has the same nickname settings as you.

Preferred Email Address

Two kinds of email services are available from Dartmouth's Vox Alumni Network. As an alum of Dartmouth College or its associated graduate programs, you are welcome to choose to either forward your mail to another email account or send and receive email using your Dartmouth Alumni account.

URL (Home Page Address)

If you have a home page, you can set the "URL" field of your directory entry to list the address of your personal or company web page. This way, you can give others access to more information about you or your business. (The Vox Alumni Network does not yet provide web page hosting services.) For example:
