Theodore (Ted) Jzyk

Theodore J. Jzyk, 71 formerly of Ticonderoga, NY, and Manchester, VT, passed away Tuesday, February 9 at his home in Franklin, MA, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Ted graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in civil engineering. He was a Captain in the Army Corp of Engineers and was a valued employee of International Paper Company for 32 years.

Ted was an outstanding athlete playing football at both Dartmouth and UVM that awarded him a bid to play for the New England Patriots. An avid sportsman, golfer, hunter and gardener, Ted loved the outdoors. Ted enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, most especially his grandchildren. Ted’s infectious smile, quick wit and joking manor made him loved by all.
