On Friday, depending on weather and interest, we can have a picnic at the Baum Conservation Area in Enfield. Then, we will have cocktails and dinner at the Norwich Inn at 6:00 PM.
On Saturday we will consider a lunch with a speaker if enough of us sign on. One may attend the Faculty Chalk Talk Saturday 10 AM, Room 105 Dartmouth Hall. |
. (B) If there is interest and the weather cooperates, on Friday we will consider a walk at the Baum Conservation Area on Moose Mtn at 11 AM with a BYO picnic lunch. Easy walking; great views. Then, no promises but we might have the professor who chose the First Year Book talk with us about it if you think you would be interested: The Travels of a T-Shirt in the Global Economy: An Economist Examines the Markets, Power, and Politics of World Trade by Pietra Rivoli. We will regroup for cocktails and dinner at 6:00 PM at the Norwich Inn.
Saturday morning we will continue our tradition of meeting with ‘our students’. We will have a box lunch before the football game with CORNELL at 1:30 PM. Weather permitting, we will gather after the game at the Frost Statue.
Saturday Night Dinner will be at The Sumner Mansion in Hartland, VT. Besides a speaker from the Dartmouth faculty, we will invite students from the morning session and some of those who assisted us at our 50th to enliven the evening.
